EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Whether a bookworm or not, participating in extra-curricular activities is an essential thing for all students. These activities enrich the lives of students, their families and also our communities. Extra-curricular activities create well rounded children who learn where their interest lies and helps them understand their talents in a better way as they are exposed to a number of opportunities. Students who enrol themselves in such activities improve their academic scores as well as their social life.

At The Heritage School, we put a lot of emphasis on the importance of extra-curricular activities in a student’s life. Not only do these activities keep the students engaged, but also help to broaden their creativity, intelligence and knowledge. Our belief being ‘Schooling for Tomorrow, Schooling from Tradition’, we offer a wide range of activities at our school such as quiz, drama, kathak, mime, art, self defence and many more.

Co-curricular activities are as important as academics. We believe that when students are exposed to various activities pertaining to their interests, then there is large development on their body, mind and spirit. Some benefits of extra-curricular activities are that one’s academic performance is improved, one’s time management skills are improved and a sense of commitment develops as well.

Although extra-curricular activities take up a lot of time, they are worth the time and effort the students put into it. And when studies and activities are being balanced well, there is nothing stopping your child from being an all-rounder!
